VFX Shot + breakdown reel (Aespa remake)
This is a remake of a scene from Aespa's music video 'Dreams Come True'. The wings are illustrated in Photoshop, the terrain is done in Unity and texturized in Substance Painter. All the composition, tracking and effects are done in After Effects.

A cube with the same position as the camera was created in Unity for reference. That way I could create the terrain accurately.
Terrain volume.
Importation into Substance Painter.
I took a denim material as a base...
...and kept adding splashes, little flowers and stains into the terrain. I exported it all as a single frame directly from Substance render.
Rotoscopy in After Effects. This was the hardest part since there was tulle on the way.
Wings made in Photoshop.
